Transportation is provided to and from camp on an air-conditioned charter bus. The bus will depart at 9:00 am on the first day of the session and return on the last day of the session between 12:30 and 1:00 pm. Departure and arrival will be at the BGAV Building: 2828 Emerywood Parkway Henrico, VA 23294.
Camp Fees are determined based on family income. A household income which qualifies for USDA free or reduced lunch makes campers eligible for a lower camp fee. Most campers pay between $40-$200. Please contact the camp for specific details about the cost for attending camp.
The camper registration fee for families that meet the free or reduced price lunch income guidelines is $40. Families who do not meet that guideline will pay $200 per camper. We never want cost to become a barrier for children to attend Camp Alkulana, so please reach out if you need further assistance.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests are eligible for a refund minus 20% up until May 12, 2025. Cancellation requests made from May 13, 2025, until two weeks prior to the start of the camp session are eligible for a refund minus 50%. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received within two weeks of the start of the camp session.
